Totsie Marine
As President of Totsie.com Website Development Company, I have been designing websites since 1996. My educational background includes Marine Biology and Biomedical Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. Along the way, I gravitated back to Photography, which was a natural as my Mom and Dad had a photography business when I was growing up. While working in a photo studio in Houston, I was called on to 'style' a photo shoot and soon found myself in the field of Photo Styling. I continued on this track in Atlanta where I freelanced in Food Styling. After moving to Asheville, and not finding enough Photo Styling work to keep me busy, I moved into Website Design thanks to the vision of my husband, Winn King, who saw a bright future for my skills in both design and customer service.
Winn King
Winn King, the Programming, Integrating and Research arm of the Totsie.com team, started his education in Physics but followed his heart to acting school in New York City, banjo picking in Louisiana and communal living in Texas. Always pursuing more knowledge, Winn rented a computer to learn skills for a possible job and found a great tool for his creative mind. His bulldogged approach to problem solving earned him the nickname, "Troubleshooting Bulldog King" while he taught himself how to setup a network and become an IT manager. In 2006, Winn joined Totsie.com to spearhead our move to developing exclusively in the Plone Content Management System. His skills at self-learning continue to thrive thanks to the ever-changing world of technology.
Jazz
Jazz, our most recent addition to the team, is in charge of Entertainment. As a Havanese, her natural temperament is all about play, cleverness and curious attention to the technical discussions around her. She brings delight and the reminder to stop and laugh several times a day for a healthy lifestyle.
