Talk about a heart warming story...the Rathbun Center provides free lodging to patients and their families from out of town who have come for medical treatment. Founded by Adelaide Key, this hospital hospitality house is available by referral and provides comfort for visitors year round. Visiting the website will give you a sense of the peaceful retreat that has been created just minutes from Mission Hospital. This Plone site sets the scene with a short movie of the water fountain and the sound of bubbling waters on the home page. Later in the site you get to view their 8 minute DVD conveniently embedded in the page and browse the photo galleries for scenes of the center and their activities. There is also an online Gift Shop for memorabilia of the compassionate support that the center provides and photos of the many volunteers that make the center a "house with a heart."
