A custom membership directory, built in Plone, is great for large associations like the 28th Judicial District Bar. Each member can keep their own profile up to date which cuts down on administrative time for managing a roster of 600 attorneys. Using Plone's fine-grained settings for roles and permissions, the public can now search and review attorney profiles based on areas of expertise or language fluency. In addition, this site provides news, events and meeting minutes for members and helpful links in the Public Information Center. The home page highlights some interesting historical images in addition to a Historical Photo slideshow on the site.
